Fishburne Swimming went 5-0 last night against VIC rivals Roanoke Catholic, North Cross and New Covenant. Additionally the boys defeated Southwest Virginia Home School (109 – 70) and Faith Christian (122 – 10).
This year’s team leadership has years of swimming experience with different skills that allow us to have a zone-like strategy spreading out our best swimmers in a wide variety of events. We’ve had similar talent in the past, but it hasn’t been supported by those underneath. This head to head format really highlights the strength of this team and I’m hopeful that it will carry over to the championship format in February for the VIC and State Championship.
